To install the SD Card, place it into the allocated slot on the SD Card Reader.
In order for the calming audio feature to work, the SD Card must contain a valid audio file. The audio file must exist in the root directory of the SD Card as a wave file.

The best placement for the wireless receiver is on the side of a wall that has a complete or maximal view of the room for the Infrared Receiver to pick up IR light.
